Cinema Dates

Should've worn these tights last week tbh, but alas after one day's wear in true Primark fashion holes and pulls have appeared. *sigh* I should stop falling for that £2 appeal when buying hosiery, it's really not worth it. Still, it served it's duty for an afternoon spent catching up with my lovely friend Fran over coffee and cake. Time flew by (don't you love it when that happens?) and two and a half hours later we were still gossiping about bad incidents driving (me with most of the road-rage / going through red light horror stories - a few of you reading will remember these...) and seemingly common drug use in Sheffield.

Last night I went to see Paul, which I was unsure about whether I'd like it. I am a HUGE Pegg & Frost fan (actually got a teeny weeny crush on Pegg circa-Spaced, inappropriate? I'm not sure..) but with a new director and more of an American influence I wasn't sure. It's safe to say it's still funny, but the gags definitely lie with Seth Rogen, more than the prior two. Work with Edgar Wright again please! Totally want to go on a road trip across American now! Who's in?

Denim shirt - Primark
Red skirt - American Apparel
Heart tights - Primark
Leather brogues - Topshop

Aaaaanyway, discussion of illicit past times aside. Thanks for your sympathy with my camera - what a loss. But it's true, the endless photos that did survive the journey home are marvelous. How have you spent your weekend chickens? xox

  1. I love your outfit! That skirt is so cute and I love those tights! I know what you mean, I always go for the cheap tights and then they always get ruined.
    I also love your boots!!
Glad your weekend went well. :)

  5. I had these tights in white and they completly failed me after the first wear too. I must remember just because something looks pretty, doesn't mean it is well made!

I'm all for a roadtrip, it's got to be done sometime in life xxx

  6. Sad about the tights :( but I've spent £8 on some from River Island and Topshop and the same has happened so Primark always for me.

  7. Ooo I've been debating Paul, I'm still not sure if I'm up for seeing it or not :S
Lovely outfit, primark tights are such a pain, I always fall for the price, and throw them out after one wear and think 'what a waste of money' but that doesn't stop me buying more.

  10. I can never resist the appeal of primark tights, but then I am a notorious tights killer so they're cheap enough to replace. I'm a bit dubious of Paul too
