Outfit Posts Galore

A feast for the satorial eye. By feast I mean lots of them. Not that I'm saying any of these ensembles are remarkably well put-together. I've been doing assignments all week, it's the best I've got.

Aaah the trusty library worthy in-work-mode attire. Comfort and warmth, without resorting to ugg boots and trackie bottoms. Soz guys, it's just not me. I wear pyjamas round the house, I can't stretch to actually being seen in them too. This is my favourite favourite cardigan. I got it from the shop in Sheffield that doesn't really have a name. It's on Division Street if you know the city, and it's a warehouse / vintage shop / second-hand jumble sale sort of set up. Either way, everything smells like mothballs but you can find yourself charming knitwear if you rummage hard enough. This one was a mere £12!
Cardigan - aformentioned warehouse; Top - Topshop; Shorts - Motel

This is what I wore for a dinner date to Pizza Express with my library co-hort Jess. We were half way through our assignments and thought heck, we deserve some dough balls. There was a very funny story about how we inadvertently bumped into a girl who's in one of our groups for a uni module and has not turned up since January to do any work. This story is made every funnier by the admission by her earlier in the day that she couldn't meet us because she was in Leeds. Pah, lies. Good thing we weren't brave enough to say anything, and hid behind the menus instead.
Dress - River Island

Finally, today's ensemble. Bought these shorts off eBay weeks ago and haven't gotten around to trying them out. I love 'em. A lot of my outfits are still very wintery; these are quite thick wool. But they're long enough for sufficient summer bum coverage, and they're pretty bright in the flesh so I'll be whipping them out on my dreams of day trips to the beach. I'm already formulating Glastonbury outfits in my head, is that a bit premature?
Lace top - H&M; Heart Shorts - H&M

I've just watched the most recent Louis Theroux documentary called America's Most Hated Family in Crisis. Now, we all know there are some proper religious nuts over in the US (and before I offend any readers from the States, my Grandpa here in the UK is a Daily Mail reader, which means I have no grounds to feel at all superior) but this is just on another level. I'm a fairly tolerant person but how Theroux manages not to laugh out loud or hit these people in the face is just beyond me. It really has to be watched to be believed. World's going bonkers.

I'm in a rather giddy mood. I think it's because I've done all my word. My writing skillz are practised today, I feel rather in good humour and look, it's 11 o clock and I don't need to be up at the crack of dawn. WIN xox

  6. Ok, the shop without a name sounds incredible! They need to label that place asap so the rest of us can find it [even though i live no where near sheffield!]

And yeah, I watched the documentary too, I think Louis is amazing, yes he was trying to provoke them into all sorts of situations//conversations, but my god they needed to be showcased. It was astounding, i was literally in shock for most of it.

  9. Haha your comment about your Grandad readingthe daily mail makes me laugh! My nan reads it and some her views are unbelievable but yet they have to be true because she had read them in the newspaper haha!

I have a major crush on Louis haha and have yet to see the programme. Hoping to catch it over the weekend. The one on Israel was shocking, I had no idea what went on over there. Religion is such a dangerous thing!

  19. I adore your last look, the shorts are beautiful! When paired with that tee they look even more beautiful! I have a report to do also, very boring!

I watched that documentory also, it really frustrates me how people can be like that and my heart goes out to the children. They're being brain washed by these adults and it's really distrubing. I think it is that element of power; thats their aim.

  20. Really like the last one although I would also quite like to steal that dress. As IF you went to Pizza Express about 3 metres from my front door and didn't come and see me. Or bring me free Starbucks. Not cool Spaz, not cool.
I will look out for your pretty face on Dev Green if it's sunny this weekend. And I will definitely put together a bag of clothes for your appeal, just let me know where/when to send them to xxx
