So lovely Sosolo

I make no secret on this blog of being a huge fan of supporting smaller independent businesses and showcasing that they often meet (if not exceed) expectations of quality of service. In fact, I would like to think these smaller businesses have to work harder and longer to build their reputation, and hence deserve more of my attention and respect. After all, most people would trust Topshop in terms of being a 'safe style bet' (quality of product is debatable, the number of things from there that have fallen apart.. But that's another blog post), but what about a brand you've never heard of?

When Kit from Sosolo got in touch with me asking if I'd like to review anything from their fledgling fashion & vintage clothing website, my (virtual) ears pricked up. A young, modest and passionate brand? Check. A huge range of regularly updated vintage and current one-off pieces? Check. Reasonable prices for post, and from experience, brilliant service and quick delivery? Check check check.

Black Slip On Brogues - Topshop

They were kind enough to send me this GORGEOUS black lacey number which happened to be the piece I had loved the most on their website. It's short and sort of gothic romantic in only the most wonderful Florence way. I love the layering and the scalloped collar, and what's more it fits like a dream and I can be proud in the knowledge that I doubt there'd be many people out there wearing the same thing. Clothing elitism? Maybe. Pursuing that elusive individual style? Definitely.

And this isn't the only gem they've had gracing there website.
Here's my pick of the rest of the best...

The best thing to come out of discovering Sosolo? They've been kind enough to offer a lovely discount to Jazzpad readers on their website. Just enter the code 'JAZZPAD' at the check out for a cheeky 10% off  non-sale items. This does exclude pieces in the So Premium range, but from the look of my picks alone, you're spoilt for choice.

Let me know if you see anything you like! And a big thankyou to Sosolo for getting in touch. I am so glad I've been introduced to them and I genuinely hope you love them as much as I do. xox

NB: I only ever review honestly and if I genuinely believe the brands fits in with my style and the ethos of my shopping habits anyway on my blog. Supporting smaller entrepreneurial businesses who have had the guts to go it alone means a lot to me, so if you are a PR person working on behalf of a smaller fashion, style or craft business, do get in touch, I love to discover newbies! :)

Also, yay for HK! So awesome that you've been there a couple of times :) I seem to always be a little unlucky every time I visit the Peak in HK (it's either rainy or foggy) but I always have the best luck when I travel over to Kowloon side to TST! Maybe you'll be luckier next time you go! :)
