Your eyes look big when they're so close

First up, I'm in the process of arranging a big fat thankyou giveaway for the scary-600 mark, because I sheepishly missed the 500 which is arguably more of a milestone. Well it's just going to have to be even more special to compensate.

Additionally, if you are a company or PR person who does fancy donating a prize as part of this, Get. In. Touch. Oh yeah and I've got Formspring back (see right --->) so if you do have any burning questions (not likely, but I can ask) then there's your opportunity.

Loafers - New Look
Crochet Tights - M&S
Denim Shorts - Vintage Levis
Black Sheer Shirt - Primark
Hair Scarf as bow - Lush

This is a classic 'Claire' outfit, short shorts, dark colours when allegedly it's the summer, and dirty hair cleverly hidden under a messy bow. This sheer shirt was blogged about a couple of months ago and remains one of my most-worn items in my wardrobe. And it's from Primark! Is it me or do you get quite a sense of achievement actually finding something that a) doesn't look like it's from Primark and b) lasts longer than a week and one wash in that place? Yeah, me too. What's your uniform? xox

I am cheating and blogging an outfit post from Sheffield last week. Soz. But you really wouldn't be interested in what I'm wearing on my placement every day, it's not very exciting.

  1. I love your style, Claire! I think Primark do some stand out pieces that wouldn't look suspect sat next to Topshop items. I swear by my Primark £4 grey jersey tee! I asked you a question ;)

  15. I love it when Primark clothes survive more than 3 cycles in the washing machine. I somehow managed to find a shift dress in 2007 that's still going strong, I swear it's had some sort of primark witchcraft done on it!
And I may have been watching too much Big Brother but I'm "well jel" of your hair, mine seems to not want to play lately and hair scarves just look ridic on me

  16. Love this outfit, a typical outfit for me is pretty much the same jean shorts, tights and some sort of shirt. x

  17. Love the look, especially hiding hair under a scarf, I do that too :p My uniform is leggings with long top/tee, quite boring really! I have a couple of Primark things that I feel smug about when people say "I could've sworn it was Topshop!" xx

  19. i really am a primark fan, but becuase i like to mix up outfits and change things so often, it's better for the bank balance than shopping anywhere else, as i tend to wear things one or two times and get bored, regardless of where they are from!

  24. i think i defo have a summer uniform but other seasons are less so. it's usually involves a shirt sleeved shirt with the sleeves rolled up, a navy trouser or jeans and some more of plimsole. it's basic but i feel comfy in it. it's nice to have a uniform that you don't have to think about too much isn't it.

cheers for the comment on my sock/shoe collection, reckon i'd like some new shoes

  25. If you can face the faff of searching through the rails and rails of crap, I reckon Primark is just as good as it's ever been (although a bit pricier now). I just can't be arsed with it though. I haven't got any shopping stamina any more!

Loving the giant hair bow. I must bust out some of my Lush scarf collection.

  26. I never tire of finding gems in Primark. You really do have to hunt though! I love the sheer skirt, looks great with the head scarf!
