Feral waves to your mind

I love the Peak District.
Going up there on Saturday and stumbling upon leopard-print mushrooms and sheepdog trials through the blustery wind only made me realise how much of my heart is up there. It's all so bleak and untouched, save for the occasional footpath or sheep pen. And such a contrast to my stay in London last week, when I realised that my home was up here.

Not exactly a fashion / style post today, but y'know, I have a life away from that too.

  1. Wow, such beautiful photos!
I stumbled across the Peak District by complete accident a few months ago - we were driving along unfamiliar roads a long way from home and were suddenly mesmerised by what we saw out the window! Amazing. <3 xoxo

  5. It looks gorgeous, I've only been there once and it was beautiful. I love these sorts of posts, makes people seem more three dimensional when they post about other things from time to time! :) x

  17. My boyfriend comes from Lancaster, which is near the Lake District. When I was last there we went to the District and I remember standing and looking over a landscape which was so vast and surreal. Living in London I'm always so overwhelmed when I see rural areas with no sign of humans! It is gorgeous.
