Spot the aforementioned 'caterpillar tash'
On Saturday night we managed to hoodwink my parents into going out for "a meal," and then making a sharp turn into a local hall bedeckled with fairy lights and balloons, full of local friends, old friends, neighbours and family. I'd been stewing about it for weeks, but ultimately it was a cracking night and well worth the sleepless nights worrying if I'd bought enough clingfilm.
Clockwise, from top : me and the brother, looking remarkably relieved that we'd pulled it off; the parents being presented with their cake and a rather naff sparkler candle which died before I got to them (whoops); and the happy couple, see their dazed Victor Meldrew faces.
Have you voted for me yet in the Matalan Style Blogger challenge? I'd be uber grateful if you did :) xox
