And you feel like an ocean being warmed by the sun

Firstly, HELLO NEW FOLLOWERS! Well you've been creeping up on me rather unexpectedly, and today I hit the big 700 (whoaza!). For those of you who got here via the Jordana Silver giveaway (still one day left to enter!), I'll be counting the entries and drawing them on Monday, so keep your eyes peeled.

Bow - Matalan
Chelsea boots - eBay
Polkadot blue dress - H&M
Faux leather gilet - Primark

The past few days I've been up to my eyeballs in uni work, but that doesn't mean I can't vaguely dress up a little, right? Ever since I bought this hair bow from Matalan as part of their Style Challenge, I've been dressing up like a little girl. Perhaps it's my subconscious screaming that it doesn't want to graduate and I should forever be irresponsible and a child (afraid not) but whatever, I'm kinda liking the sweetness. All because of a hair accessory. You'll see me embracing Spring pastels soon.... maybe.

I've had a flood of people asking how I dip-dyed my hair lately, which, if you're a regular follower will know I don't have anymore. But, this newfound admiration for the blonde ends has made me think I might just go down that road again this weekend. I've bought the dye and everything. Stay tuned this week for a step by step how-to! xox

P.S. The title for this post comes from The Shins' new track "Simple Song," which I'm absolutely loving. It's reignited a love for that band which hasn't been felt for a while, I've been getting all the old albums out and bopping around my room to "Kissing the Lipless" and "New Slang" all over again!

Looking forward to the dip-dying guide - I've been toying with the idea for a while but I think it might look ridiculous on curly hair... x
