We sailed away for a year and a day

Hello bloglings! Occurred to me I haven't done an outfit shot on Jazzpad for a while, because I've looked like mess for weeks I haven't bought anything new or particularly exciting lately! And yes those are braids in my hair. I'm becoming more like a hobo (noun. 'homeless vagabond') by the day. I have been overwhelmingly poor these past few weeks, I even stooped to raiding my penny jar to satisfy my chocolate fix earlier. I have never been more embarrassed than I was counting out 35 x 2p coins at the front of a very disgruntled queue! Yikes! On top of that, I've become massively reliant on selling my life on eBay, and you might have seen on twitter that this week I learnt that auctions don't always run smoothly.

Tell me, have you ever had any eBay problems? And if you did, how were they resolved?

Black Sandals - Monki
Leopard print bag - eBay
Lace t-shirt - H&M
Black skinny jeans - Primark

I thought it would be quite fitting to pull out a birthday present from netheryear, in the form of this gorgey Leopard-print satchel. We won't call it an Alexa, but it's not far off. It was from Liam's mum (thanks Carole) and remains my favourite statement bag. It's pretty loud so I tend to use it when the rest of my outfit is quite simple. Though this was over a year ago I've managed to find one on eBay which is pretty close if you want to get your mitts on one. God save eBay (on the whole) xox

  1. I've sort of broken out of the habit but I used to be absolutely AWFUL with eBay, I'd spend spend spend, feel guilty and then sell it all on! It really wasn't healthy. And I know your pain with sneaky buyers trying to 'negotiate' :s x

  6. Love the ebay back, don't like the ebay idiots who don't pay for things. I HATE it when they click buy it now and then just don't even bother contacting you. One person said to me "can you wait two weeks until I get paid?"
    ugh!

  7. Ah eBay.... Well I once sold an unused photo album and the buyer contacted me to say it had arrived damaged and was just no damn good. So in the end she ended up keeping the item AND got a full refund. I'm still a little dubious - how do you really know people are telling the truth? x x

  8. I'm selling on eBay, but at the moment my things are going for almost nothing, which makes me sad. I've had a couple of people who never pay. Once a girl said she never got something, then claimed on paypal that her credit card was stolen. So the credit card company charged paypal, who charged me. Basically I refunded her £25, then paypal charged me AGAIN for the £25 plus £20 for the credit card company. That was pretty awful...

  9. I have a love/hate relationship with ebay. I spend far too much on there and when I sell things I use the paypal money to buy things on asos!
Have got a few things on there that have sold out in store though and it's great for instax film and building up my record collection xx

  11. Love this outfit, and that bag is amazing! I've not got into ebay just yet due to sheer laziness, but I'm starting to get too poor to shop on the highstreet, so might have to get involved! xx

  12. What a great outfit, that bag is amazing. I love and hate ebay all at the same time. You get some really good things on there but there's always that doubt when purchasing if you're getting what you want/if you get it at all

I've had my fair share of problems on ebay! I once bought something that was pretty expensive only to find that it had buttons missing which was not in the description!!

I too am decidedly skint at the moment - I can sympathise with counting out pennies for chocolate!

  21. This outfit is amazing, especially those gorgeous sandals! I like ebay but there is just so much on there and you never know what the quality is going to be like so I am a little wary!
