Quietly he sat between the folds of the tree trunk

First things first.... giveaway winner! Using a random number generator, I am happy to announce the winner of the bumper cosmetics and beauty giveaway is...........

Waeeeeey! I'll be getting in touch for details of where to send the prizes. Thankyou to everyone who entered, I'll be arranging another over the next month or so. What can I say, I love spoiling you guyz.

Onto the outfit of the day! And today was a big day. Dissertation hand in day! Woohoooo! It warranted an outfit I could run around in should the binding services be down, but luckily for me it all went smoothly and now I am relatively freeeee! Which means all the more time for blogging, huzzah thrice times.

Gold boat shoes - c/o Sperrys
Blue jeans - Uniqlo
Wool blazer - Dorothy Perkins
Stripe shirt - Topshop
Leather vintage rucksack - eBay

At first, I wasn't sure whether these shoes were ridiculous or amazing, but either way they've quickly become my favourite pair, and I've been wearing them to death. I occasionally find myself transfixed by their golden wonderness, and Alice dubbed them the Keith Lemon shoes, ha ha! They're pretty much the blingiest boat shoes I've ever seen, so I dressed down the rest of my outfit and strolled out the door with reflective feet. They're Sperrys, a classic boat shoe brand, perfect for my summer holidays, and like trusty Converses come in lots of different colours, available on ASOS and Office.

What are your go-to holiday shoes? xox

  1. I am liking your new(ish) hair do. I once had a fringe like that but I resembled a mushroom, but you my dear, definitely do not! Lovely.

  12. I love your jacket, it's a wonderful shroomy colour, at least it reminds ME of mushrooms, in a nice way.. (: I also love the golden shoes, my inner magpie is drawn to things like this but I don't know if I'd ever be brave enough to give them a go. I'm currently on the hunt for a new pair of trusty sandals for summer and I've got my eye on a lovely pair in Oasis, but I'm not sure I can justify £40 on a pair of SANDAlS. There's just enough material in them to warrant that price haha! (: x
