Geometric shirt - c/o Sheinside
Velvet sparkle skirt - Ark
Nails - c/o Essie in Fifth Avenue
So it definitely feels like I'm in some sort of Gotye video wearing this shirt. I can't believe it's been almost a week since I last blogged, how awful! I've had good reason for the silence though, my dissertation is due on Wednesday and I have FINALLY finished the content, so this weekend has been one of celebration. And gin. This is what I wore out in Birmingham last night with some of the boys, we went to Snobs which is an indie institution as far as I'm concerned. It's tiny and grubby and plays the Black Keys, so I'm always happy there.
This shirt is one of my newest additions to my wardrobe. It's quite autumnal really (no pastels for me) but I like the assymetrical geometry of it. It reminds me of school-day doodles and sitting in the art room pretending to do work when actually you're just using an obscene amount of that expensive acrylic paint and making a mess. A nostalgia shirt, right?
Yeah this is a rambly post today. I'm going to have my hangover roast dinner, sit in the sunshine and enjoy my Sunday, ta. xox

That shirt is insanely awesome! Love it paired with your sparkly skirt, the maroony-pinks are so coordinated!

Your top reminds me of when I used to draw scribbles and then colour in the different shapes it made... I haven't explained it very well, but it's definitely a good thing! Hope you're not too hungover (bad times) xxx
