One of the best things about being a fashion blogger is the opportunity to experiment and play dress up with my wardrobe. I've been harping on about bow ties on girls for months (despite scoffs from my housemates that I'd look like Cher Lloyd) and so when I got the chance to pick something from Scarlett Hearts, there was no decision-making necessary. Pass me the glitterrrrrrr.
I wore this to go and see Ladyhawke on Friday night, surrounded by an audience similarly dressed in black, and it's actually a lot more glittery than these photos make out. It's a shame the night itself wasn't quite as sparkly as my jewellery (she wasn't much of a performer, it turned out), but I like to think my dancing at the after party made up for the artist's sombre appearance.
This week has been manic - I've had two interviews with a third on the way (fingers crossed), and my last ever lecture at uni was last week! I've been taking part in filming a vintage-shopping guide in Sheffield with my old housemates, featuring the new vintage shop on Division Street in Sheffield. Needless to say now I'm a bit exhausted, and trying to remember not to fill up my diary without allocating some "me" time. Today I baked cupcakes and had a browse of some streetstyle, what Sundays were made for, right? xox

Gosh love this, just the right amount of glitz! xxx

ReplyDeleteI'd love to be able to pull off a buttoned up shirt and bow tie but I have too much bosom... I'd look like a matron! Looks lovely on you though! I love the combination of the sheer black shirt with the gold glitter. Good luck with the job hunting, scary I know!
