Five is a number that I dream about

Shock horror, Claire's got her legs out. But it's just so beautiful outside I couldn't help it! I usually keep them well under wraps, but I thought today I would embrace the pale & let them soak up a little vitamin D.

Since moving from Sheffield and getting on the internship bandwagon, my dressing routine has changed dramatically, and as a result, I feel like my shopping habits are slowly changing too. I will never, ever, return to the blacktrouserwhiteshirt years (yawn), I've got a big personality at work, so why shouldn't my clothes reflect that?

This bright blue blazer is my latest workwear addition to my wardrobe, and proves my point exactly. Smart enough to be office-worthy (ok, perhaps without the complimentary thigh) but bright enough to make me feel like, well, me, in an otherwise fairly corporate environment.

Blue blazer - Glamorous
Denim shirt - Primark
Faux leather shorts - H&M
Black cut out wedges - New Look

Don't forget you can get a cheeky 20% off Glamorous wares by using the code (surprise surprise) "GLAMOROUS20" at the check out!

Internship number 2 starts next week - similarly in a PR capacity. So right now I'm soaking up the sunshine back at home, seeing plenty of my Mum and my dog, and generally enjoying this time off before my next adventure begins! I'm a busy little bee!

These photos are so pretty! Remind me of where I live, lots of countryside. I should venture further than my patio for outfit posts haha.

    Hope you're well xx

  19. I just bought an emerald green floaty blazer and it's the best. There's just something about a coloured blazer that does wonders to an outfit.

  27. Oh I love this blazer and I completely agree with you about how your outlook on clothes changes once you start working. I know shop and think 'I like that... could I wear it to work?' and if not I will 9 times out of 10 put it back, because at the end of the day where am I going to be spending 5 days a week... ? :) This blazer is definitely something I'd wear to work! Such a gorgeous colour!
