Look around the corner, tell me what do you see?

I have a penchant for polkadots. Anything - dresses, skirts, blouses, if I see it on a rail I'll snatch it. I've become quite good at finding polkadot bargains in charity shops especially, and stocking up my new little shop as a result! Though, I'm usually quite scared of wearing pink, so when this Maggie and Me dress arrived on my door step I spent a good few days staring at it hanging up thinking - "how do I make pink and pretty more me?"

So, I decided to throw on a couple of my other favourite tops to dress it down a little. With a fitted waist and swishy skirt it is definitely a style I can see Maria rocking, and it also reminded me of Katy's vintage plaid frock too. I'm actually quite proud of myself for putting this together, I really like the mix of styles with my go-to leather gilet on and lace t-shirt which I've sort of cropped and tucked under with a belt.

I'd never heard of the brand before but they were featured as a daily deal with TStylesU, which I have heard of. And, luckily for you, they're offering a 10% discount using the code "BLOGGER10" at the checkout - so go and have a lookie!

Starting my last week at Starbucks EVER - hurrah! Hopefully moving onto pastures anew in the coming month or so where I don't have to make coffee for rude people any more!

  13. Good luck with new adventures! This is a lovely skirt, I see what you mean about it being girly but you've styled it so well! If someone said to me 'pink polka dot' I'd think it was sickly sweet but this isn't at all! xxx

  19. I think pink and pretty works perfectly on you :) love this look! I love rocking up pretty dresses with a denim or leather jacket, or like an over sized jumper as they're not really my style either. xx

  20. I love love LOVE that skirt, I haven't seen anything like it! And hurrah for leaving starbucks - I HATE rude customers, I'll never understand how suddenly you cease to be human when you work somewhere, and everyone thinks its okay to hurl abuse at you. I get it way too often because cinema prices are too high, popcorn costs too much, the queue was too long, blah blah!!! :P
