Girl About Town – Jazzpad in Grazia

How exciting is this! Not only has Grazia gone and given my beloved Sheffield an entire double page spread, but my face is gracing the top right hand corner too!

I’ve been wanting to blog about this for aaaages, and at last the issue I’ve worked so hard on is gracing the shelves across the country.

This week, Grazia Local is focusing on three Northern cities, namely Newcastle, Leeds, and of course Sheffield. It’s our special regional edition that features the top 10 things to do, from local girls in the know - including yours truly!

My new role is *clears throat* Grazia Local Brand Ambassador, which sounds very official doesn’t it? What it really means is that I’m the gal you go to for recommendations of where to eat, shop, and hang out, in Sheffield. And it’s an absolutely privilege, let me tell you.

Along with the Top 10 recommendations given by readers, there’s my column “Girl About Town” detailing some of my favourite haunts. I’ve also scouted for some exclusive discounts in some of the Top 10, including 20% off my favourite vintage shop in the whole city.

The Sheffield edition comes out TODAY, and if you’re a Sheffield, Leeds, or Newcastle-based reader, you can pick up your copy for just £1 this week.

Thank you for all the happy tweets and messages I received about this – it’s the biggest exposure my little old blog has ever had, and it makes me blush with pride.

So hello to new readers! Stick around, I’m quite nice really.
