Remember how that lasted for a day?

Thanks for all of the lovely comments on my last post from my holiday! I feel really recharged and even though I'm back at work, I'm planning firework events and making plans to go to Paris in February(!!), so I'm a happy bean.

And here's my especially happy face with my new Biba clutch, courtesy of House of Fraser.

Viewing the collection online, I was struck by the signature art deco detailing on this particular lovely. It's quite a heavy clutch (less likely for me to lose when I've been boogie-ing, ahem), but absolutely beautiful, and I've been guarding it with my life. If, like me, you like the glitz and glamour of Biba, reincarnated since its former glory, there are some lovely leopard print numbers too! All handbags are available at House of Fraser, and if you pop over to Gem's blog Fat Frocks, she's reviewed one too.

Tie dye skirt - Lavish Alice
Art deco clutch - c/o Biba at House of Fraser
Tuk creepers - c/o Spartoo
White shirt - H&M

I'm also wearing my new Lavish Alice tie dye skirt having seen Amy looking FIERCE in hers. I've had three people tell me it makes my legs look super long, which, for a stumpy lass like me, is music to my ears!

This week me and my Mum are having proper quality time together. I live with my parents at the moment which is actually quite fun, they're pretty laid back and it's easy because we all live our own very separate lives - amicably. All the same, we're having some girlie nights in without the boys, and I can't wait! I predict baking, cinema and several evenings down the pub. What are you all up to this week?

  14. That clutch is gorgeous! I love how bold the gold looks against the black, such a classic shape too. My week so far has consisted of way too much uni work, deadlines, and lots of cups of hot chocolate to keep me going!
