Run fast for your mother, fast for your father

Last night you might've seen my terror tweets about starting training again at a local netball club. I bloody hate gyms. The only times I will ever run, is for a ball, or a bus. But I have always loved netball, and, I actually did ok, despite being really rusty!

Clockwise, from top left - 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6

What I also love about the sport, is the kit that comes with it. Yes, I'm talking netball skirts, gym pants, and especially springy trainers. You too can pull off the sports luxe feel as seen on these ladies, without channelling Vicky Pollard.

I'm a huge converse fan, which is a classic example of a trainer brand which has managed to escape the trainer category somehow, and is now more of a cultural symbol, than a sport symbol.

I'm a bit obsessed wit hi top shoes at the moment. Ever since getting white leather converses seen in this outfit shot I've been googling style snaps of girls with high top trainers, getting a little bit more inspiration to wear them away from the court. These are my top picks, but what do you think?

  1. I love Converse but am pretty averse to normal trainers, although I quite like the ones above! x

  2. I would've been huffing and puffing like an old granny! I like the look of the Nike high tops, the stylish way to play sport :p xx

  3. new balance dude, you won't regret the comfiness

  4. love the ones on the left... why doesn't money grow on trees?!?!?!?

  5. I LOVE the middle ones,I keep seeing pairs and wanting to get some... xo

  6. To be honest I loved the netball skirts as well, even though so many people don't! There's just something so cute and flippy about them, even though you are sweating up a mess in them...
