(Photo Diary) London

Here are a few snaps of my time in London this week. I always get a little camera-happy when I go away - so many new things to see and hope to remember! Hopefully this post won't feel too heavy, and will just give you a taste of my lovely two days away in between Christmas and New Year.

I tried to bump into Jazzabelle at the V&A and fell in love with an unconventional bookcase; tucked into the most delicious bowl of moule; found my favourite new indie cinema at Baker Street, hence the Sherlock Holmes stamps; and hung out at Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park!

You guys aren't too sick of Christmas posts, are you? Well, I wanted to end my festive holiday in the most overly festive way possible, so what better way to do that than on a yuletide helter skelter? I haven't been to a circus in YEARS, so I also made it my priority to head to the big top, tickets courtesy of BGO entertainment.

I must admit, I was holding out for animals and fire, but apparently these days that's dangerous and/or illegal, but after a year of sporting GENIUS, I was quite happy with a heavy dose of gymnastics. The best act is pictured above, the finale was incredible! I won't spoilt it too much for you, but the circus is on til the 6th of January so if you're in the area you've still got time to pop down and soak up a bit more festive spirit before the decorations all get packed up for another year.

Happy New Year in advance everyone! I'm having a low-key one with friends this year, a few beers and a big fat takeaway. Staying in is the new going out!
