That figurative line, London's mine

I've just got back from spending a couple of days in our fine capital, and I'm pooooooped! My knees feel like jelly from all of that walking around, so my bum is firmly placed on the sofa, and I'm itching to share all of my photographs with you guys. I've had a busy week, mainly involving eating. Such is life.

London's mineLondon Photo Diary 2012London's mine
Navy wool coat - Next sale
Scarf - Christmas present
Leather satchel - eBay
Polkadot shirt - Uniqlo
Skirt - c/o New Look
Leather boots - Schuh

Couldn't resist in stopping in my favourite borough (Chelsea, dontcha know), for some outfit snaps! I must've looked so strange in the middle of the road, but at least I didn't halt any traffic.

I felt very snug in this ensemble, and managed to fit all I need into my rucksack, so didn't need to hurl a suitcase around with me. I'm pretty nomadic, so I've become quite adept at minimal packing. All the same, after some sale shopping (!) a couple of hours after these pictures were taken, I had carrier bags coming out of my ears!

My skirt is from New Look, and is actually in the workwear section of their store. I love the fuzzy grey print but wasn't quite brave enough to wear it top to toe with with the matching bouclĂ© jacket too. It goes with pretty much everything in my wardrobe but I think this, with the polkadot long-sleeve shirt, is my favourite combination.

I'm having a really lovely Christmas break with my family. My brother has recently split up from his girlfriend so all of us have tried to cheer him up and keep him as occupied as possible. Tomorrow we've got my Mum's side of the family for Christmas round 2 (do any of you guys do that?) and I'm trying to persuade my cousins that we should go glow bowling!
