Top Picks : December

This post went down well last month, so I thought I'd continue to show you guys what I've been loving product-wise, this month. The three products I've chosen are my perfect winter essentials - for me it's all about bracing the chill and still trying to look party-ready.

Clynol Glow Precious Oil: My hair is fine and oily above average, so for a long time, I avoided hair oils like the plague! However, with this sodding wintery wind, my locks were starting to look dull and in need of a bit of conditioning TLC. This one smells incredibly luxurious, lightweight, and a little goes a long way. After use, my hair looks shiny and soft, even in this horrible weather. You only need a couple of drops too when towel dry, so with any luck one bottle will last me right the way through til Spring.

John Frieda Frizz-Ease Miraculous Recovery Intensive Masque: This product works in a similar way to the Lee Stafford treatment I reviewed last year - but I much prefer the rich smell, the texture, and the results of this one. I LOVED this masque, but the phrase "a little goes a long way" cannot be said for this product. If you use it once a week, it would probably last you a month, or less if you have longer hair. It's the perfect treat for a long bath or a pamper afternoon.

Essie nail polish in 'Leading Lady': Finally, to add a bit of pizazz to the festive season, my favourite polish of the moment comes from the blogger favourite - Essie. 'Leading Lady' is a rich, sparkly red, perfect for Christmas! It's sold out online but I have a sneaky suspicion they'll have some left in your local Boots stores.

What are you guys loving right now

  2. Oooh that Clynol sounds fab! I'm using the Aldi version of Moroccan Oil atm which is surprisingly good, but I'd like to give this a try at some point.

I bought Essie 'Thigh High' which is a similar colour to 'Leading Lady' just without the glitter, it's such a lovely Xmas colour :)
