Denim dungarees | Karma Clothing

Who says you can't wear short shorts in the middle of a blizzard? I found ten minutes when it wasn't howling a gale outside today to take these shots, as a sort of proof that I am the blogger queen of dressing inappropriately.

I'm wearing my new denim dungarees from Karma Clothing, layered over one of my favourite sheer polka dot shirts, and cardigan which a hand-me-down, years old and knitted by my Nanna!

I am most definitely inspired by Katy and Steph in this playsuit, make sure you check out how they rocked a similar one on their blogs last week! I love dressing like a little girl, and this playsuit with the clip braces definitely harks back to my childhood. My Nanna cardigan might not be the height of fashion but it smells like home and it's bloody cosy. I'm planning on wearing this playsuit as shorts with a striped jumper over the top, and in the summer bare-legged, with a floral t-shirt and trainers. Lush!

Ever since my car accident my "fuck it" attitude has kind of rocketed. I've found myself quicker to say what I think (hello Mr Car Dealership Man), and less bothered about what people think. I've been wearing bright lippie every single day, invested more time in telling the people who matter that I love 'em. The important stuff, right?

This weekend I've mainly been dreaming about a beautiful flat that *might* just be possible to sign up to with my lovely Liam, and looking forward to my birthday weekend next week! I'm heading to Birmingham with some of my favourites (some of which you might already follow on bloglovin'), and we're going to party like it's 2004 to indie tunes and motown classics.

Oh! And you've heard all of the goings on with GFC right? It would be awesome if you're still a Jazzpad fan to follow me over at bloglovin' too, so you don't miss any of my dressing-like-a-five-year-old posts.

  8. You so rock those dungarees! I always dress like a child too - erm hello H&M kids section. You are lovely Claire - I'm sorry to hear about your car accident (I had one in February and it was HORRIBLE), it sounds like yours was quite a scare, these things in life pretty much suck, but you can even sink or swim and I think it really makes you realise life is worth the fight xxx
