For as long as I have been a blogger, there has been Florence.

I am a big fan in a big way. I've never met the lady, but I've seen her life four times (once even before she was a redhead!). From her early covers of Cold War Kids to her newer, orchestral sound in stadiums, I've followed little Flo from the very start.
She has never failed to inspire me throughout her rise to stardom, and I think that despite her fame now, she still keeps pretty true to her roots - if only on a grander scale. Back at the start when her knees were covered in bruises and she'd sing songs in park using only the railings as percussion, I remember thinking, wow, I wish I was that experimental and weird. Nobody would argue that she's incredibly striking looking, but I never thought of her as classically beautiful, and in my eyes her attitude always reflected the sort of daydreamer I wanted to be too.
I wasn't sure what this post would be become when I started writing it, but I think she deserves pages and pages of admiration on my blog. But, for fear of boring you all away, we'll stick to one, giant, single-post shrine.
