Jazzpad in the press 2013

Day to day, I'm a PR girl and style blogger. Jazzpad is almost 4 years old (yikes!) and I've been working as an account executive full time since July 2013. Somehow, magically, I manage to fit in other freelance writing projects, so I thought you might like to see some of the other projects I'm involved in too.

Click the above image to for a more detailed look at some of the work I've done over the past 12 months....

QC Style Academy
 - Style feature for academy training module, on "3 ways to wear monochrome"
Grazia Daily - Interview piece as Grazia's Featured Blogger of the Week
Meadowhall Style Magazine - As part of the Fabulette pannel, reviewing three beauty products
Exposed magazine - Style City blog about Sheffield, and street style feature in print

Earlier on this week I started drafting a blog post that was rather sour. I was feeling pretty down about stuff going on, which I put down to seriously needing a holiday, mainly. But, after a cracking weekend with many of my best people, I had a good cry, a few too many glasses of wine, big chats and realised that I have an awful lot to be grateful for. And those things that I'm not 100% convinced on, nobody can change those but me.

The sun is shining, I have a couple of days off, and though I'm feel like ripping my skin to shreds thanks to recurring heat rash, life is pretty good. And I'll be blogging lots more now the inspiration is back.

  1. Sometimes it takes a little time out to gain some perspective - i'm very glad you're feeling more positive. And this post proves that you continue to achieve great things! xx

  2. Claire you little star! Look at all you've achieved!

  3. look you my pro blogger pr mate being all cool :) glad that you're feeling much better about everything now. Always happy to have a facetime or email moan session xx

  4. you're getting about, well deserved though dude.

  5. Amazing, you should be so proud! Hope your skin clears up, I also suffer with heat rashes and I know what a pain they can be, especially on fair skin.

    Tara xo

  6. The press pieces are pretty fab. I don't really know how you do it all working full time and all - I certainly do a lot less now because I can't afford to take so many days off holiday. Impressed!!

Thanks for taking the time to comment - if you have a style blog of your own, please share!
