Anchors ahoy | ENGlorious

Englorious jumper

Hello chickens! How are you all? I feel like I've been a bit out of the loop with the blogging world lately, not been on twitter much and because work has been a bit hairy the last thing I want to do is stare at a screen after I get home. All the same, I've been trying to step the blog up this past month, posting more frequently and trying to improve my photography... What do you think?

Today I'm wearing a thoroughly laid back ensemble, which is perfect for days like I've had lately which are so incredibly hectic, I don't have time or the inclination to do my hair or put any makeup on. Oversized, snug jumpers like this one from ENGlorious and a pair of trainers is my ideal uniform. Each sweater or t-shirt in their range is hand painted too, so with minimal effort, you're bound to stand out!

This weekend I'm spending time with my family. Without going into too much detail, my Mum hasn't been herself this week so it has just highlighted to all of us just how much we take the people closest to us for granted. I don't see my grandparents nearly as much as I would like to either, but I'm determined that will change. My Gramdma in particular could rival Mary Berry with her baking skillz, so expect a lot more recipes appearing on the blog over the next few weeks!

  7. Blood is thicker than water. Family should always be top priority. Only when we don't have our loved ones around us do we truly miss them. Always take time to be with them :) Don't work too hard chick xx
