Y Not Festival

Earlier this summer I went to Y Not Festival in Matlock. It was a bit of a last minute decision as, thanks to my new flat sponging up all of my spare pennies, but I'm so glad I went. Unlike the major festivals the crowds weren't too bad, meaning I could actually see everyone I wanted to!

It was a new music lover's dream, with the likes of Temples, Chapel Club, Public Service Broadcasting and of course my favourite - Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip. Who was flipping amazing, by the way. I heard his new track Stunner live, and despite a massive festival evacuation thanks to an electric storm, he did his whole set in front of the moshiest, happiest, sweatiest crowd I have ever seen.

Here are a few of my snaps anyway, did you guys go to a festival this year?

  2. I always meant to go to Y Not because it was so close when I was at uni but I never got around to it. Sounds like a nice little festival. How were the cribs? I love them, seeing them tomorrow in London which I'm really excited about x
