Breton & Blue | #ootd

Breton & Blue

Morning gang! I'm currently sat in a ball, watching the Great North Run (go Kate!), dreaming about doing a half marathon one day, while my crappy muscles recover from a MONSTER of a walk in the Lake District earlier this week. I had the loveliest time though (injuries aside), and feel thoroughly refreshed after a week off from work, the internet and everything. Sometimes you just need a break, y'know?

Today I'm wearing something pretty casual, once again reverting to black and white, but with a dash of cobalt blue in my latest pair of every day trainers.

Black harem trousers - c/o Oasap
Cobalt blue trainers - c/o Spartoo
Breton t-shirt - c/o Chicnova
Leather biker jacket - French Connection

A Breton t-shirt is a must have for any wardrobe, and worn with denim, black, leather or other prints, it kind of goes with anything! This one is slightly more unusual too with a neon cuff, and we all know how much bloggers love a bit of neon yellow! These harem trousers haven't come out as well as I would have liked, but in the flesh they're super slinky and come from the same place as my striped pair.

Today I plan on going for a run (8km? Dare I?), maybe doing a bit of baking, and generally forgetting that I'm back at work tomorrow after a week off. CRIES. Saying that, I've got LFWeekend next week, so it's not all bad!

  6. I agree a Breton top is a must. All of mine are getting a bit tight. I need to find a maternity version because I cannot function without one! I didn't actually watch the great north run today although I had a few friends running it. The weather was the worst it's been in years but not as bad as I thought it might be. x
