Cats and hats | Outfit post

Cat print t-shirt and Fever dress

I've got a fringe! Aren't they annoying? Don't get me wrong, it's glossy and shiny and face-framing and feminine, but my god it's ticklish.

Hair aside, today I'm rather loving this thrown together ensemble. Like many other fashion bloggers I've caught the Persunmall bug, and this cat print t-shirt is subconsciously endearing my other half to the idea that getting a kitten is an EXCELLENT idea. Please feel free to send him annonymous letters of cat-love to feed my cause.

Grey marl dress - Fever
Cat print t-shirt - c/o Persunmall
Black bowler hat - H&M
Black boots - Dr Martens c/o Spartoo

I recently acquired this Fever dress from their new AW13 collection, and with many smart and ladylike dresses that fall into my lap, I had no idea what to wear it with. In typical Claire fashion, I got scared of looking too sophisticated and dressed it down with my trusty Dr Martens and t-shirt. I ordered a size 10 and it's pretty snug on me, so I'd definitely recommend getting a size up from what you usually are.

The cat print t-shirt isn't available on Persunmall any more unfortunately, but there are lots of other lovely animal-y ones, and I've especially got my eye on this incredible tiger vest!

  7. Welcome to the fringe club! They are annoying, I can hardly see as I type this haha. It looks really good on you though! :) I need a pair of classic DMs, I only have long ones but these ones go with everything. Are you finding that hats push your fringe into your eyes? Nightmaaaaaare. ;)

  14. I can't have a cat where I live, so you should get one so I can live vicariously through you and squeal over your pictures of it.
