Do you ever have a piece of clothing that you have to psyche yourself up to wearing? It will hang on your window frame for well over a week, untouched, while you build up the courage to venture outside. Then, as soon as you clock up a lunchtime wearing it, you realise you had nothing to be worried about, and it was quite liberating, actually, trying something new.
That's exactly what happened when this leopard print jacket from Oasap landed on my desk. Now I've got over that initial "oh my god it's just so LOUD" obstacle, I am thoroughly in love with what epitomises the statement coat.

I wore it today with my beloved faux-leather t-shirt from F&F and just a black skater skirt. Black tights season is officially with us but I still reckon we've got a few weeks left on swishy minis!
Outfit aside - thanks to everyone who tweeted me this week about my photography woes. I think in many respects it's a question of confidence. I'll wear pretty much anything and be the first to jump into trying something new, but when my blog is all lined up on bloglovin' next to so many other talented ladies I just get the willies! You'd have thought after 4 years these sodding insecurities would do one, but there you are.
Dad has leant me his DSLR which I'm going to play with at the weekend. It may be that I'm just not getting the best out of my bridge that I can (in my eyes), so I'd rather not jump on the DSLR bangwagon unless it really will make a difference. Long story short - have you camera fanatics got any advice?
