OOTD | Cat dog flats

Tartan dress and cat dog shoes | Sheffield Fashion Blogger | Outfit post

Remember me? I know it's been a while, but these cat dog shoes are too cute not to show off on the blog today. It's properly wintery where I live now so I doubt they'll be wearable much more this year, but I couldn't resist their assymmetrical appeal to placate my pet envy.

Shop the look...

Red scarf - eBay (similar)
Tartan dress - TK Maxx
"C" necklace - c/o Topshop
Cream fine knit jumper - c/o Matalan

I'm still not sick of the tartan trend, which I favour being worn all at once! This is my all time favourite scarf which I thought I had lost in my car accident - but was then posted back to me by the loveliest man who works for the Highways Agency. Silver linings eh?

I'm also wrapping up warm with the Matalan Statements collection, today with the softest, snuggliest fine knit. It works as a top all by itself too, so on warmer days I'll wear it tucked into some high waisted mom jeans for a laid back look.

I've had a bit of a break from the blogging/online world this week, which I think we can all empathise with from time to time. I feel like I'm working especially hard in my day job lately, which is definitely not conducive for hours spent poring over my laptop after hours. My Mum's also been a bit on the rocks lately - and I know many of you have had family illness to contend with this year so you'll know what it's like trying to parent your parents!

Right now, I'm counting down the days until December when I'll be decorating a real Christmas tree (the smell is just unparalleled), and roll on 2014.

  9. Flipping heck Claire, those shoes are amazing! You could so diy something like that if you were on a budget or fancied a mess about. But why is the dog so unhappy looking? Cos he can't get to the cat?
