OOTD | Winter florals & trainers

Outfit post | winter florals print shift dress

Today my outfit pictures come straight from the ASOS offices, where I took part in #ASOSSwapShop - but more on that later this week. Whenever I go to events there's always a little voice in my head whispering "you gotta be more fash-un Claire", especially when visiting arguably the biggest trend setting brand headquarters in the UK!

It's probably not necessary, but after four outfit changes and turning my bedroom upside down trying to put something that demonstrated I sort of know what I'm talking about (I hope), I ended up in head to toe winter florals, with a beautiful frock from Great Plains.

Blue sneakers - Spartoo
Winter florals dress - c/o Great Plains
Long sleeve black t-shirt - New Look
Faux leather sleeveless jacket - Primark

Matching shoes with my frock - how coordinated! I had never heard of Great Plains until they approached me, and upon first glance I wasn't sure it was my kind of style. However, I seem to have cultivated a collection of shift dresses (remember this amazing one?) and they really do have such a lovely range of prints! This winter daisy print shift stole my heart - they're long enough to be perfect to wear without tights (hurry up Summer) and many of them are now in the sale including this leopard print tunic and this amazing sequin print number!

I've also had a good few inches chopped off my locks, what do you think? I'm still not sure. I've never been precious about my hair but after a good couple of years growing it I think I can now empathise with you girlies who shriek when anyone comes near you with scissors. I'm thinking some sort of colour change...

  12. That dress is beautiful and the shorter locks suit you well! I keep getting tempted to cut my hair, but I've spent so long trying to grow it I must stay strong!
