OOTD | Post-holiday pottering

Stripes and florals

I'm back from my canal holiday, and the sun is still shining! This weekend I have been unpacking, cleaning my flat and generally remembering how to use technology. I haven't looked at my emails for well over a week (they're still unread) and it has been SO good to give my eyes a rest from a screen. I'll be posting a photo diary from my trip in the next couple of days, watch this space!

Today I'm wearing my new granny sandals from New Look, which I also bought in black, whoops! All I've done today is potter around the flat and hang my nose over the loveliest daisy print fabric for a potential table cloth, but even the lady in the shop loved my heart shaped elbow patches!

It has been over a week since I blogged, and even longer than that since my last outfit post! Since my Honestly post I've made a concerted effort to write more about what I want to - more recipes, more photo diaries and more about what I get up to aside from just what I wear. Have you noticed much of a difference? What do you think?

  1. I think I need to get myself those shoes too! Love the outfit Claire!

  2. Those heart elbow patches are so sweet! I need more cute elbow patches in my wardrobe to be honest. I'm a bit envious of your week away from technology; I've got a uni deadline this Friday and have spent far too long sat in front of a screen!
